Education aims at ensuring a person's acquisition of skills, knowledge and values. Education is essential for human development as it empowers each individual with required knowledge and capabilities to be able to choose by that person's own preference his own future and make an appropriate way of life for himself as a member of society. It is also crucial for the development of developing nations to foster human resources for nation-building.

It is widely accepted that the process of education begins at birth and continues throughout life, and giving the right direction to a person on its utilization makes it beneficial for the society and a person himself. Also training the young, ensures further development of education and the preparation of a new educated generation, which is necessary for formulating and building strong, developed and democratic societies.

In some developing counties due to the scarcity of; new international standards in education, teaching and reading materials, lack of qualified teachers and appropriate teaching programs, and the decreasing numbers of an educated population; all resulting in a deterioration of living standards.

Another essential part of education development is providing effective and flexible opportunities to people having difficulties in accessing the formal educational system. In particular by supporting the non-formal education in remote areas having no or limited educational institutions.
