Organization of New Year Celebration for Children with Cancer at Tashkent Oncology Hospital (Tashkent, Uzbekistan)
Cancer is a serious disease, and, unfortunately, sometimes fatal. But the disease is curable and not only medication could help in such cases. Children need psychological support as well. Sometimes elasticity, good mood, and of course love and support of people around can have no less impact than any course of therapy. This is the therapy of love and understanding. And it’s within our power to help these children.
Since 2005, on annual basis, UNICON is arranging a “New Year party” at the Tashkent Oncology Hospital for young patients with Santa Claus and Snow Maiden. Children watch an exciting performance with various competitions, participate with great enthusiasm, and receive presents. Every child speaks to Santa Claus and make a wish. We hope that all their wishes will come true, and, most importantly, they will overcome all the difficulties they face.
Children's laughter and sparkling eyes is the highest award that can’t be assessed with any monetary value. We will continue our cooperation with the Cancer Center and we hope that our small contribution will bring tangible moral assistance to the children.
